Advance Certificates of Training
Our SLPs have advanced certifications and experiences in the area of pediatric speech and language pathology with an emphasis on parent education.
Our clinic’s foundation is built upon educating parents to be their child’s most supportive teachers. We use our training and experiences to help parents feel empowered and capable of identifying where their child is in their communication development and know how to move them into the next phases.

Talk Tools
Our speech-language pathologists are trained in the TalkTools program for improving speech production. This is a highly respected and sought-after approach using fun and non-invasive “tools” such as bubbles, whistles, straws, and jaw spacers to increase the strength and coordination of the speech articulators. PROMPT is an acronym for PROMPTS for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets. This is a play-based therapy in which the trained therapist uses their expertise to choose target sounds for the child to focus on. Tactile prompts (strategically placed finger prompts to the child’s face) are used to help the children achieve proper oral motor postures to produce the targets. For more information on PROMPT therapy, please visit their website at www.promptinstitute.com.
